Responsibilities:
Work primarily in the Gift Shop, Retail Kiosk, or Ticket Booth.
Follow Cape Leisure's Cash Handling policy.
Maintain a clean and organized work area; stock retail merchandise.
Answer phone calls about park information and reservations.
Occasionally cover reception desk duty.
Maintain a good knowledge of the Park and current events in order to expedite guest inquiries.
Other duties as required.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Cashier experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail store:
1 year preferred but will train the right person.
Pay based on experience and skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required Must be friendly and focused on the needs of our guests Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend for an entire 8 to 10 hour shift.
Tasks require consistent use of both arms and legs.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and carry for short distances.
Must be willing to tolerate working outdoors (hot or cold temperatures) and in warm interior environment.
Must be able to visually inspect condition of facilities and equipment.
